Firstly I want to say that I love your artwork! The ponies are wonderful and the backgrounds are awesome!
But I can also see where you're coming from. I also criticize myself and my artwork and attempt to move upwards and forwards with each new drawing. Everyone else tells me that "She looks great!" but all I can see are the flaws, how much time that I invested into the drawing, and how much I hated it by the end. I hate almost all of my artwork and have come to realize that, if I don't hate it, then I didn't work hard enough on it and didn't do everything in my power to make it better than my last drawing.
There will come a day when I don't hate my work, but that day is probably years off from now, when I'm satisfied with my skill level. Right now is not that time.
Dear PonykillerX, I only know a little about you. But When I came to deviantart, I learned a lot. You have art of a master. Something that I would need to spend my entire life on. Which I plan to. Because I love it.
I noticed you are still tring to get better. Yes. But It shouldn't mean that you are forced to do it. When you do artwork, put what you like and love, whatever makes you happy. Because inside those pictures, is a mirror image of you. Painting brings a lot of good thoughts to you're mind. It's you're world, and you are the creator. Have fun doing it, and don't worry if you're good or not. Because you will get better.

I don't quite see how everyone thinks you're so cynical. Unless I'm missing something from all your deviants that I saw in your gallery. Every artist has reason to not praise themselves for their work. while others may not notice the mistakes you make, the artist certainly will. And it's impossibly to be perfect. So to me, you're a pretty nice person all things considered from what I've seen. you just have the critiquing spirit of a true artist. which i think is fine.
Yes, I don't understand why people make a big fuss about this, I think I have the right to criticize my own artwork, if they can't deal with it, that's their problem.
good point, but most professional artist sometimes HAVE to be overly critical of their work if they want to break into the industry..every artist reserves the right if they don't like a certain piece, and may remove it if they deem so..it's your work at the end of the day and you don't have to listen to the masses who think 'differently'

This sounds like a rant, but it pains me how FIM has
gone from good to bad to awful, and now to shit.
Went to order it, and it's not available any more.
The only piece of MLP art I've seen and gone "I want that on canvas!"
